Parties take place at the riding school. First there’s an hour of gymkhana games. For anyone who hasn’t seen this before, imagine sport’s day races on ponies! It’s fantastic fun, and tailored to suit the ability of all the children taking part so that everyone can join in. Lots of time on the ponies and the chance to cheer on your team throughout the races.
Pony games are followed by an hour in our warm and spacious tack room, with picnic tables for you to set out your own party food and birthday cake for the children.
All the pony games happen inside our covered riding arena, protected from the elements. Ponies are led by experienced helpers, and all the children wear fitted riding helmets. So there’s heaps of fun and excitement whilst staying safe, warm and dry. Children from 2 years upwards can take part.
We offer standard pony parties, as described above, and also Unicorn Parties – where the children ride ponies decorated as unicorns, and enjoy a Unicorn birthday cake afterwards.
